In reply to the inquiry about British characters: It's all in the word choice. Unless your character is poking fun at Americans, they probably won't use the word "dude". British slang is very inventive and definitely colors the language, even if your character is proper and upper crust. But there are as many different British dialects as there are parishes in the UK, and research is an absolute must. If you're character is from Yorkshire, you better know what that sounds like! |
