That anon who said that blind people don't bother with makeup isn't entirely correct. I've known a woman who was so fiercely independent that she made her mother teach her how to do her makeup by touch and repetition (ex: three swipes mascara, feeling along the lipline for lipstick, etc.) Now, after ten years, she wakes up every morning and does it from memory, making sure all the products are in the right place. |
| Anonymous | Thanks, Anon. ^ People are amazingly adaptable. For any character with limitations, ask yourself if they would accept them, or try to get around them. If the answer is ‘get around’, start thinking of ways they could do so. (Note that ‘get around’ isn’t always a positive- note that the ‘fatal flaw’ of a tragic hero is often hubris or pride, meaning that they will not accept the limits or fate imposed upon them by the universe. Resulting in a universal beat-down). |
