A famous author in my country wants to read my book, but our styles differ a lot. Should I let him read it, while I know that he won't like it? |
| Anonymous | Having different styles does not guarantee that an author will dislike your writing. I know that some of the styles that I love are totally different from my own. If nothing else, s/he should be able to see past the style and appreciate your writing on its own merit. Also, if you want to make a living out of writing, never tell someone to not read your work. You need to advocate for yourself, and, by gods, if a famous person wants to read what you have written, you hand it over. - Evvy |
