A question to go with The Accent Post, what about when the accent of your character is one that's one you've created based off a combination of several real ones? I've got two characters that speak the same way and while one constantly makes attempts to lessen or even eliminate his accent (unless he's angry, which is another story) the other does not. Would it be better to show his accent thickening (Ex. You know, it'd be a whole lot easier on ya if ya'd jus'...) or to switch from accent to not? |
